This Christmas a special toy factory will be set up downtown in Technopolis of the City of Athens (Gazi), holding joy and magic in store for children and adults,

from December 6, 2013 until January 6, 2014. Santa Claus and his cheerful elves welcome all guests and offer the season’s greetings at the fabulous Christmas Toy Factory.

It is the first time that visitors will have an up-close look at preparations for the making and distribution of presents to children. The Christmas Factory covered an area of  25,000 m² where 500 decorated natural fir trees create a magical holiday season atmosphere. Against a beautifully designed Christmas setting, all visitors can enjoy their Christmas shopping as products are arranged in lovely traditional wooden huts. They will have lots of fun on the Grand Carousel, the impressive Christmas wheel, the eco-roller coaster the theatrical performances for children, concerts, choir-singing, interactive workshops etc.The Christmas Factory also houses interesting displays such as the remarkable collection of exhibits of ancient Greek technology by Kostas Kotsanas and the collection of traditional toys by Nina Karakosta, consisting of 3,000 originals and copies of toys from all over the world. In The Christmas Factory area visitors can choose among a variety of special Christmas culinary art creations.
Christmas is the biggest celebration of love and Santa Claus asks his little friends to bring their old toys, old books or clothes to The Christmas Factory so that he can give them out to children in need.
The Christmas Factory offers their solid support to the associations Floga and SOS Children’s Villages.
